This bathroom renovation was a part of a larger project involving the kitchen and reorganization of an interior hallway and basement staircase.

The original 1950 Cape bath, accessible from the hallway and primary bedroom, was overdue for an upgrade. We sealed off the access from the kitchen (they had another guest bathroom on the first floor), reorganized some interior walls, and made a true ensuite master. The freestanding tub and shower are in a curbless, European-style wet room. The handmade, scalloped wall tile adds flair and a burst of color.
